Why Pilates
What a weekly class does for you
Pilates is low-impact, precise and suitable for almost everyone. It's especially good if you sit a lot, carry tension, or want to move without pain.
Stronger core
Build deep core strength that supports your back and everyday movement.
Better posture
Undo the effects of desks and phones — stand taller, move freer.
More mobility
Ease stiffness in hips, shoulders and spine with controlled movement.
Calmer mind
Breath-led movement that leaves you feeling settled, not wiped out.
Your first class
What to expect
You'll be one of a small group, so there's plenty of individual attention. We work through a sequence of mat-based exercises — controlled, breath-led movement that builds strength and mobility without strain. Everything is optional and everything can be adapted.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring a mat and some water. That's it. If it's your first time, arrive a couple of minutes early and say hello — I'll make sure you're set up.
Ride horses? Ask about Equipilates® — Pilates tailored to make you a stronger, more balanced rider.

Common questions
Do I need any experience to join a Pilates class?
Not at all. Classes are small and beginner-friendly, and every exercise can be adapted to suit you. If you have never done Pilates before, this is a great place to start.
Where are the Pilates classes held?
Classes run at Newland Hurst in Droitwich, Worcestershire — on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:15am.
How much do classes cost and how do I pay?
Classes are £12.50 each, or £50 for a block of 4 — the block works out cheaper and helps you build a regular habit. Just message to reserve your place.
What should I bring and wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring a mat and some water. Grippy socks are handy but not essential. Come as you are.
Do you offer one-to-one sessions as well as classes?
Yes. I offer one-to-one Pilates in your own home and one-to-one personal training at the gym, both tailored to your goals. Many people combine a weekly class with occasional private sessions.
Do you still offer Equipilates for horse riders?
I do. If you ride, ask me about Equipilates® — Pilates designed to make you a stronger, more balanced and more effective rider. It runs as private or two-to-one sessions.
